M&S shoppers are gushing over the brand’s new sparkly kitten heels, with many saying they feel ‘very comfortable’ and look ‘absolutely gorgeous’. The £39.99 Sparkle Kitten Heel Slingback Shoes have been dubbed the ‘heels of the season’ by shoppers, as glowing reviews pour in for the style showcased in the store’s festive TV advert.

Available in black, dark red or opaline, the mid-height heels dazzle with sparkles, ensuring you’ll shine under any disco ball as you dance the night away this Christmas. Customers are convinced these shoes will elevate any festive party look, suggesting they’re ‘perfect’ for December festivities and New Year’s Eve celebrations, reports the Mirror.

On TikTok, one enthusiast advised: “Girls RUN don’t walk before these fly off the shelves!! Perfect for Christmas/New Year.” A viewer responded: “These are GORGEOUS,” while a second exclaimed: “Omg gimme gimme.”

M&S store @Mandswolstanton also shared the heels on social media. “The heels of the season. The sparkle. The COLOUR!!! It’s a must-have payday treat,” the branch said.

Meanwhile, on the M&S website, reviewers have shared lots of praise for the sparkling footwear. A satisfied customer commented: “An absolute winner. Fabulous nude sparkly kitten heels, I’m a size 6 and these fit perfectly, are comfortable, accommodating my wider feet. I will definitely feel sophisticated and classy wearing these! I’m going to buy the black pair too (and the red when they come back into stock!)”

A different customer shared: “On first look they appeared to be narrow but having worn them they were very comfortable and looked great.” Another chimed in: “I bought these shoes to go with a burgundy top for a Christmas night out. They are absolutely gorgeous! The sparkles are subtle but shimmery and so pretty. They are true to size and seem comfy – just love them!”

Meanwhile, someone else thought: “The photos do not do these justice. They are gorgeous. I normally fit size 6, but found the size 7 most comfortable. They look great on and are a beautiful colour with tasteful sparkle. They look far more expensive than they are and are very comfortable.”

Currently, there are no negative reviews on the website, but some customers did suggest sizing up. “Beautiful colour shoes. Usually 7-7 1/2, so ordered the size 8. They fit perfectly, so if in doubt size up,” read one such comment.

It’s worth noting that standard delivery costs £3.99 unless you spend over £60 on your order, but you can opt for free store collection. Unfortunately, the dark red shoes are currently out of stock in all sizes for online shoppers. Some might also struggle to find selected sizes and colours in-store, with the shoes proving extremely popular.

However, your best bet is to try the online stock tool to check if you’ll be in luck at your local store. There’s no wide fit option, either. The shoes are typically available in sizes 3-8, in standard fit only.

M&S offers a range of options including the £35 silver Kitten Heel Slingback, the £45 black Studded Kitten Heel Pointed Slingback Shoes, or the £45 red Wide Fit Leather Kitten Heel Court Shoes.

Elsewhere, Next has a selection of lower heels, including their Burgundy Forever Comfort Kitten Heel Court Shoes in standard or wide fit for £29. For those seeking a bit of sparkle, Dune London’s Madelines – Rose Gold heels are on sale for £52 and Celinna – Red heels have been reduced to £72.
