Primark is selling £38 boots that shoppers are loving and look much expensive than they really are. Some are even comparing the boots to a £219 designer pair by Carvela.

Part of Rita Ora’s popular collection for the high-street giant, Primark’s Black Gem Heeled Knee-High Boots are turning heads. According to the product description, shoppers can expect “pointed toe knee-high boots covered in black faux gems”.

The boots are available in sizes 3 to 8, and they’re are up for grabs both in-store and via click-and-collect, as the Mirror reports. They’re proven popular online, with fashion blogger @Semina.styled showcasing the shimmering boots in a recent video.

“The Rita Ora Sparkle Boots, a statement for sure… The sparkle was unreal!” In the comment section, an impressed viewer replied: “Oh wow.”

As fashion fans might have noticed, Primark’s shoes look similar to other dazzling boots, including a sold-out pair from Carvela, originally priced at £219. “The Lovebird High Jewel boot sit just below the knee. The upper is in black with a crystal embellished upper. There is a gunmetal zipper on the inner side of the ankle,” the product description read.

Fortunately, all is not lost if you’d prefer a pair of Carvela boots. The designer brand has slashed the price of several sparkly boots, including the Lovebird Bootie Heels now available for £79, Lovebird Toecap Boots for £79, and Lovebird Vinyl Ankle Boots for £134.

For those who prefer knee-high boots, Public Desire is offering its own take on the trend with the Lothario Black Diamante Knee High Boots priced at £54.99. Debenhams also has a striking pair from Where’s That From, reduced from £136.99 to just £34.84.

If you’re after a more colourful option, the same brand offers the boots in silver. For those with wider feet, Simply Be has glitzy ankle boots on offer, namely the Angelica Feature Heel Ankle Sock Boots Ex Wide Fit, which are available for £60.
