Eagle-eyed fans noticed something different with Emma Raducanu’s attire compared to her Billie Jean King Cup team-mates in their press conference on Wednesday.
Stories have erupted over the past couple of months over her sponsorship deal with Porsche.
Reports indicated that Raducanu was forced to give back her luxury car amid a season of poor form and injuries, having signed a brand deal in 2022 soon after her US Open triumph a year before.
The rumours have been quelled before by the Briton, who made light of the reports by posting her Porsche on social media in recent weeks.

And appearing in a press conference on Wednesday, Raducanu was joined by her team-mates Heather Watson, Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart and Olivia Nicholls, as well as team captain Anna Keothavong.
All of them were wearing jackets with Team GB’s Lexus sponsor on the chest – except Raducanu – who might be contractually obliged to refuse rival car logos on her clothing.
It did not go unnoticed by fans on social media, with one saying: “Hey trolls!”
Another wrote: “Emma’s got a new jacket. Hahaha to the trolls.”
Which drew the reply: “Well spotted!”

Raducanu became the first British woman to win a grand slam since Virginia Wade in 1977 when she lifted the US Open trophy at Flushing Meadows in 2021.
Since then, the 22-year-old – who celebrated her birthday on November 13 – has failed to replicate her success with various injuries halting her progress.
As a child, the tennis star also adopted a love for motorsport and used to be a motocross rider as well as a kart driver, attending the Porsche Carrera Cup at Brands Hatch.

Emma Raducanu has been an ambassador of Porsche since 2022
“Porsche is a brand that fascinated me as a kid,” she said. “One of my first tennis coaches drove a 911.
“Whenever I would turn up to practice in the morning, I would see his Porsche, I would go wow and be like dreaming of one day sitting in my own.”
Great Britain take on Germany in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals on Friday as they look to win the title for the first time.
