In a light-hearted take on holiday shopping chaos, Debenhams unveils its Christmas campaign titled, ‘Duh, Debenhams’. The campaign is designed to get people pondering why they’re still battling crowds instead of shopping from the comfort of their sofas.

Starring British cultural icons: actress Liz Hurley, model and TV host Leomie Anderson, comedian Ellie Taylor and model/presenter Hannah Cooper-Dommett, the Debenhams Christmas cast brings seasonal sparkle and light-hearted sass.

Set against dreary and rainy skies, each vignette captures a relatable Christmas shopping dilemma. The stylish icons respond with a playful quip – affectionately mocking the festive madness with an elegant yet obvious solution: ‘Duh, Debenhams’.

The campaign soundtrack is a reimagined rendition of the ‘Carol of the Bells’ – the track puts a fresh spin on the festive favourite, blending memorable carol notes with the campaign’s playful expression, ‘Duh.’

Dan Finley, CEO at Debenhams, says: “‘Duh, Debenhams’ flips the script on festive shopping chaos and boldly establishes us as the ultimate answer for a stress-free Christmas shopping experience. Our iconic British cast delivers ‘Duh, Debenhams’ in a classic yet humorous style.”

Liz Hurley said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of ‘Duh, Debenhams’ this Christmas, my favourite time of year! This campaign beautifully embodies the joy of the festive season, blending humour with style. There’s nothing quite like celebrating with loved ones at holiday parties, and Debenhams makes it easy to find the perfect outfits and gifts that elevate every gathering.”
