Away Resorts has announced a host of activities and events across five of its 25 parks this festive season.
Winterfest at Tattershall Lakes, 1st November – 23rd December
The festive extravaganza is packed with themed entertainment and experiences for the whole family. Guests will have the opportunity to create their own wishing jar, enter Mrs Klaus’ kitchen to bake some Christmas treats, and of meet the jolly old man himself. From seasonal performances to surprises.
Santa’s Wish: A Christmas Show at Tattershall Lakes
New for 2024, Away Resorts will be performing a family musical adventure with a Santa’s Wish. This Christmas show created by BAFTA winning and OLIVIER nominated international composer, Matthew Brind, will leave everyone filled with festive joy. Follow the journey of Snowflake, a lovable elf, who needs help to save Christmas! With Santa’s sleigh missing and time running out, only the magic of Christmas and a little help from Away Resorts’ guests, can set things right.
Forest of Light at Sandy Balls, 1st November – 2nd January
Step into a magical wonderland with the Forest of Light at Sandy Balls. From the moment guests enter, they’ll be transported into a world where the forest comes alive with thousands of twinkling fairy lights. Wander around illuminated trails, bask in the glow of festive colours and feel the joy of Christmas as the lights lead guests into a magical woodland experience.
Guests can also look forward to Santa’s grand arrival at the Festive Fire and Light event. This outdoor forest celebration invites friends and families to embrace the spirit of the season. Enjoy the warmth of festive fire pits while singing along to yuletide favourites, joined by Santa’s cheerful elves. As the night unfolds, gather around to hear the Great Elf share a captivating Christmas tale by firelight, setting the scene for an unforgettable night.
