Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are “really worried” about Prince Andrew as his “anxiety is through the roof”, inside sources have claimed.

King Charles recently axed the Duke of York’s £1million-a-year allowance, according to claims by royal commentator Robert Hardman.

A source claimed: “It’s been a hard few months for Andrew.”

They added that his “anxiety is through the roof” and that Andrew’s family is “really worried about him,” referring to his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The insider continued to tell Us Weekly that Andrew, 64, is “barely leaving the house” and “is generally very lost in where his life has gone.”

Earlier this month, royal author Robert Hardman released his book, “Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story,” which claimed that Charles, 75, axed Andrew’s annual personal allowance.

While the specific amount was not disclosed, it was reported to be £1million.

The book also claimed that the Palace will no longer finance Andrew’s security detail, which Charles has been funding since Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022.

Andrew’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, whom he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, have continued to support their father over the years.

However, the state of his well-being is “putting a lot of stress” on the girls, the same source continued to tell the publication.

Their biggest concern is Andrew being forced to leave Royal Lodge.

They added: “Right now, it’s a sanctuary for him to be away from the world and try and get himself [feeling better].”

The Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles in 2019, after his Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis.

That same year, a woman named Virginia Giuffre accused Andrew of sexual misconduct.

He infamously sat down with Maitlis for an interview discussing the allegations, which aired in November 2019. Andrew repeatedly denied ever meeting Giuffre during the interview.

Giuffre sued him for an alleged sexual assault, a case that was settled out of court with no admission of guilt. Prince Andrew continues to publicly deny the allegations.
