Lauren Ashley Martin, 34, of Sanford, Fla., drove to the home of Savon Chantay Tyler, 34, on Nov. 5 to fight, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Miami Herald.

Tyler came out of her home with a miniature baseball bat and a gun, as seen on her girlfriend, Lakevia Davonna Pringle’s Facebook Live.

Tyler set the gun down but was still wielding the bat when she approached Martin in the street and the two women began to argue, police said.

The verbal spat turned physical before the deadly escalation, where “Tyler shot Lauren multiple times,” the Sanford Police Department alleged in a statement.

The videos get dark, according to the publication, but Tyler’s girlfriend can be heard telling her to beat Martin.

Tyler then allegedly retrieved her gun, and as her girlfriend cheered her on. She’s accused of shooting Martin twice, once in the arm and once in the abdomen, investigators said.

Tyler told cops she shot Martin but said she was worried the woman might have a gun on her and expressed concern about her four kids inside her home, the Herald reported.

Martin was taken to hospital, where she died from her injuries.

According to the victim’s family, the argument was over some photos Martin took of Tyler.

“Someone went online and made a comment… then another person went online and made a comment just back and forth and it spiralled out of control from there,” Jessica Burks, the victim’s aunt, told local outlet WESH.

‘That was my niece, my best friend, my diary. We talked all the time even though we had nothing to talk about,” she said. “And I can’t believe this happened like this; we were all friends.”

Tyler was charged with one count of first-degree homicide. Pringle, 31, was also charged in connection with Martin’s murder.
