Minnesota missionary Beau Shroyer wanted to bring God to a remote corner of southwest Africa.

Instead, he found the devil.

Shroyer was tragically stabbed to death in his vehicle on Oct. 25, in “remote bush” outside the city of Lubango in Angola.

Now, local cops say that his wife, Jackie Shroyer, and her secret lover were allegedly the masterminds behind the shocking slaying. Two others were also arrested and a third man is reportedly at large, according to the New York Post.

The couple and their five children relocated to a walled compound in Angola in 2021 to bring religion to the locals. He told people he was “following God’s command.”

“I just don’t have any words,” Carl Gessell, a friend of the couple in Detroit Lakes, Minn., told the Post. “I’m shocked that this even happened. I can’t believe she would do something like that.”

But cops do.

Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) spokesman Manuel Halaiwa said police have “strong suspicions” that Jackie was engaged in a torrid affair with the family’s newly hired bodyguard, Bernardino Isaac Elias, 24.

According to detectives, the wayward missionary allegedly promised a $50,000 payday for the hit on her hubby. She reportedly gave Elias $400 to help plan the assassination.

The suspected boyfriend then hired two pals to remove Beau Shroyer from the board. One was a convicted felon whose nickname was “Vin Diesel.”

Jackie and Elias allegedly scoped out the future crime scene three days before it all went down.

Investigators said they recovered an American-made knife used in the killing at the scene, along with $5,000 cash in local currency. The knife was a gift from Jackie to her toy boy.

The killers allegedly lured Beau by faking car trouble at the side of the road. Jackie allegedly excused herself and went into the bush before bloodshed was unleashed.

According to the Post, the Shroyers were affiliated with SIM USA, a North Carolina-based evangelical Christian organization. SIM USA financed their youth ministry.

So far, no formal charges have been against Jackie Shroyer — yet.

But before heading to Africa, she reportedly told a pal she was overcome with visions of helping poor children in Angola. She later said the family helped feed 300 kids a week.

“Beau told me that God led him in a different path,” Gessell said, adding he had been a local realtor and a cop. “He was a caring person, the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back.”

Friends remembered the pair as “deeply religious” and it was Jackie who wanted to go to Africa.

But the dark continent was also full of struggles for the God-fearing family. It was dangerous (they did not trust their security) and their children were “constantly battling malaria.”

SIM said in a statement: “SIM remains committed to supporting the ongoing pursuit of justice for Beau and has taken steps to ensure that Jackie has appropriate legal representation.”

The group confirmed that the couple’s children remain in Africa, and that they are being “well cared for.”
