A man in a Raptors sweater is sought after unprovoked assaults on two separate women on a GO Transit train.
Durham Regional Police say the attacks happened on Monday within hours of each other and it is believed the same suspect is involved in both cases.
The female in the first incident was treated on the scene, while the second female was taken to a hospital.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 25 to 30 years of age, with a medium build, and short braided hair.
He was wearing a Toronto Raptors sweater that is black and white on the front, with a red symbol on the right arm and a black circular Raptors symbol.
He also had on black and grey pants and white and black shoes.
Police advised that the suspect should not be approached if spotted but call 911.
SCARBOROUGH HOME HIT BY GUNFIRE
Toronto Police have reported a Scarborough home was hit by gunfire early Tuesday.
The incident happened at 12:09 a.m. in the area of Scarborough Golf Club Rd. and Kingston Rd.
There were no reported injuries and police continue to investigate.
