Bristol Rovers supporters have taken to social media to express their frustration with Birmingham City’s ticket prices for their trip to St.Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park next month, less than a fortnight before Christmas.

Rovers will travel to the Second City on Saturday, December 14 to face League One’s promotion favourites for the first league meeting between the two clubs since 1995. However, some Gasheads aren’t happy with the cost of tickets with one particular point spotted.

Northampton Town supporters were charged £5 less in every price category than Gasheads for their 1-1 draw against Blues last weekend with the most expensive ticket for Rovers fans priced at £30 for adults. Meanwhile, Over-65s are priced at £25, Under-24s £20 and Under-18s £15.

£30 is the most expensive away ticket Gasheads have had to pay this season with the most either £25 or lower for adults with Peterborough United the next-most expensive at £28.

Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders, box holders and those involved in the share scheme at 10am on Monday, November 18. Supporters Club members will then be able to purchase tickets at 10am on Wednesday, November 20 with any remaining tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday, November 22.

However, with Birmingham continuously making headlines about their spending capabilities, supporters have expressed disappointment with the pricing structure, particularly considering how close the fixture is to Christmas. Here’s what some supporters have said on X, formerly known as Twitter…
