Now in its 24th year, the Totterdown Arts Trail is back for 2024, running across the weekend of Saturday, November 16, and Sunday, November 17. Dubbed Bristol’s longest-running arts trail, the free event takes place across multiple venues with a huge array of artists.
From ceramics and drawing, to food and furniture, performance art, installations, and more, trail-goers can explore a vast selection of art in multiple forms from some of Bristol’s biggest and best loved local artists. There will also be a plethora of places to stop on your route for a bite to eat.
We’ve put together a little guide of all you need to know if you’re planning on visiting the trail across the weekend. You can find out more via the official Totterdown Arts Trail website here.

What is the theme of this year’s arts trail?
Each year the Art Trail is themed as a ‘way of unifying the event and branding for a particular year’. Last year’s theme was ‘doodles’, and this year is ‘umbrellas’.
This year, the arts trail will be sponsored by estate agents Boardwalk who have arranged to provide professional trail signage for each venue. Boardwalk will be printing specially designed estate agent-style boards which will advertise venues on the trail.
