Bruno Fernandes has claimed Alejandro Garnacho ‘thinks he has lost faith’ from some Manchester United fans in the wake of their 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday.
The Red Devils were clinical throughout the showdown, with Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho scoring either side of an own goal from Victor Kristiansen.
It was United’s final match under Ruud van Nistelrooy, who took charge on an interim basis following the departure of Erik ten Hag.
Ruben Amorim will be in the dugout for United’s next match against Ipswich on November 24.

Earlier in the week, a United fan filmed himself giving Garnacho stick over his lack of end product.
And Fernandes, speaking to the BBC, has revealed the Argentina international thinks he has ‘lost the faith’ of some fans – hence his muted goal celebration.
“It was a good day at work, I have to say,” said the United skipper.
“We have a lot of players with big qualities, but people can get too excited after one game and too down after another.

“Garnacho scored a banger but didn’t celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans.
“I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do.
“I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player, we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games. We want them to score every game but that isn’t going to happen.”
Fernandes also hailed Van Nistelrooy for his impact since replacing Ten Hag.
It is currently unclear if the Dutchman will be part of Amorim’s coaching set-up when the 39-year-old starts work.
Fernandes added: “It was a long time that I wasn’t scoring and now goals are coming in the last few games.
“Another clean sheet was important for us to bring back the fortress we had here. We have to keep doing that and we have to improve.
“Ruud van Nistelrooy fills the club, he loves the club, he wants to bring joy to the players.

“It’s a new era, a new manager means everything changes but what hasn’t changed is that this club has to get back to where it belongs.”
Leicester boss Steve Cooper, meanwhile, reacted to the result by saying: “It was a fairly even game in general play but in decisive moments we didn’t defend well enough.
