Sky has kicked off its Black Friday sale, offering customers the chance to save big on TV packages, broadband and mobile plans. The sale is now live with hefty discounts on Sky TV, Sky Glass and superfast Sky Broadband.
Savvy shoppers can snap up a tempting £168 discount on a TV and Netflix bundle, or secure 150Mbps broadband for its ‘lowest ever price’. Those in need of a new smartphone can also benefit from deals on devices from Apple, Samsung and Google, which can be combined with Sky Mobile’s reduced data plans.
The deals are available now and will continue until Tuesday, December 3. So, read on for the top bargains in Sky’s Black Friday 2024 sale. Sky has cut the price of its Ultimate TV Package that includes Sky TV and Netflix to its ‘lowest price’ ever. The plan is now just £19 a month, down from the usual £26, saving members £168 over the 24-month term.
The package comes with a new Sky Stream box, Sky’s plug-in-and-play device that streams live and on-demand content over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish. It features the same blockbuster titles as traditional Sky, with over 100 channels like Sky Atlantic the home of The Penguin, The Day of the Jackal and Dune: Prophecy plus a Netflix subscription at no extra cost.
After the 24-month period, the plan will renew at £31 on a 31-day rolling contract until cancelled. This deal is also available with Sky Glass Sky’s own 4K UHD smart TV with built-in Sky from £33 a month.
Sky has also launched a significant discount on Sky Glass packages. Typically starting at £14 a month for the 43″ model, plus £28 for a Sky TV and Netflix bundle, customers can now grab it in one simple subscription from £33, down from the usual £42.Sky Glass is Sky’s own UHD Quantum Dot TV with a Dolby Atmos soundbar and built-in Sky TV. It comes in three screen sizes ranging from 43″ to 65″ and colours including Ocean Blue, Ceramic White and Anthracite Black, with prices now ranging from £33 to £43 a month depending on which size you choose.
A Sky Glass package includes more than 100 channels and a Netflix subscription with Sky’s Ultimate TV Package, featuring top channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, plus voice control and personalised recommendations.
For shoppers looking to upgrade their broadband and enjoy the biggest new series, Sky is offering its packed Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 broadband plan for £38 a month. Usually priced at £39, this includes more than 100 channels with Sky Stream, a Netflix subscription and fibre broadband with average speeds up to 150Mbps.
Sky has recently launched its new One Touch Switch process, making it even easier for customers to switch providers. This new service eliminates the need for customers to contact their current provider as Sky will manage the switch on their behalf.
Additionally, Sky offers 24/7 support from a real person with its dedicated switching service.
If you’re satisfied with your current TV service but are looking for faster broadband, Sky has reduced the price of its Full Fibre 150 broadband to its ‘lowest ever price’ of £27 per month on a 24-month plan.
It’s not just about TV and broadband, Sky has also cut the prices of a range of smartphone and data plans as part of Sky Mobile’s Black Friday deals. Customers can save up to £276 on the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, now available from £38 per month, down from £48.
There’s also a saving of £180 on the Google Pixel 9 Pro, now priced at £29 per month, down from £34. Additionally, there’s a £45 discount on the iPhone SE, which is now on offer at £13 per month.
Each device comes with a 36-month plan, with members having the option to upgrade after 24 months at no extra cost. However, with a new phone comes the need for a comprehensive data plan. Fortunately, Sky Mobile is offering six months half price on selected data plans, allowing members to save £15 per month on the 100GB plan and £8 per month on the 25GB plan.
Sky Mobile also offers the feature of rolling over any unused data into a Sky Piggybank each month, which can be used whenever you need an extra data boost.
