Two double-decker buses have crashed into one another in Manchester city centre this morning, leaving at least 17 injured.
Both Bee Network buses collided along Rochdale Road near Livesey Street, although no one sustained critical injuries, according to Greater Manchester Police.
Images of the horrific crash online have depicted debris from the collision across the road.
Firefighters cut one individual out of the upper deck, while others were taken to hospital.

Labour councillor Pat Karney said that the crash caused an “incredible amount of damage”, speaking to BBC Radio Manchester.
He said: “It’s hard to work out what went on but it looks as though a bus went a great speed into another bus.”
“People don’t wear seat belts on buses so they must have been traumatised.”
Since the devastating crash, the councillor has said that an investigation should be launched into what occurred along the bus route earlier this morning.

An air ambulance, along with nine road ambulances and two emergency response vehicles arrived at the scene of the crash at around 8.30am, according to North West Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson said: “Seventeen patients were taken to hospitals across Manchester, including seven on a bus accompanied by a paramedic.”
Following the incident, Rochdale Road was closed between Livesey Street and Moorhead Street while emergency services tended to the injured.
However, the roads have been reopened to regular traffic since.
