Prince William and Princess Kate have sent a heartwarming personal message to Lady Louise Windsor.
The young royal is celebrating her 21st birthday today, and the Prince and Princess of Wales have followed King Charles’s footsteps in naming Louise on social media.
William and Kate wrote: “Wishing Lady Louise a very Happy 21st Birthday,” accompanied by a balloon emoji, a cake emoji, and a birthday card emoji.
The Waleses shared a previous post made by King Charles’s social media page, which read: “Happy 21st Birthday to Lady Louise!”

Lady Louise does not carry out official duties, despite being the niece of King Charles.
The Royal Family usually does not issue birthday messages for non-working members of the Firm, which would include Louise.
However, they make exceptions for milestone birthdays, which would include Louise’s 21st milestone.
The King’s post was accompanied by a picture of the young royal carriage driving, a sport in which she excels and frequently competes.

The Royal Family also does not issue birthday messages for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as the couple stepped back from public royal duties in 2020.
However, they made an exception for Prince Harry in September when he turned 40.
Louise is currently studying English Literature at the University of St Andrews, where William and Kate also studied and met in the early 2000s.
The Waleses are very close to Louise’s mother, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and live near the family in Windsor.
