Head coach Martin St. Louis says the Canadiens are “learning how to win” during Year 3 of their rebuilding process.
There’s obviously still a lot to learn with the Canadiens off to a 4-7-2 start, which is four points behind their pace after 13 games last season and three points behind their pace in Year 1 of the rebuild.
Why have the Canadiens seemingly taken a step back this season?
That’s the main question answered on this week’s Hockey Inside/Out show as former Canadiens teammates Chris Nilan and Rick Green, who were part of Montreal’s 1986 Stanley Cup team, join The Gazette’s Stu Cowan.
The panel also discusses why the Canadiens are struggling both offensively and defensively and if it’s time to call forward Joshua Roy up from the AHL’s Laval Rocket.
Let us know what you think in the comments section below, where you can also post a question you’d like the panel to answer on an upcoming episode of the weekly Hockey Inside/Out show or one of the three weekly bonus episodes.
