South Gloucestershire-born comedian and presenter, Joel Dommett, will be returning to stand-up with a brand new tour in 2025, named ‘Happy Idiot’. Joel will head out across the UK from February, to venues including the Bristol Old Vic, where he will kick off his tour on February 23.

Having recently been announced as the host of upcoming ITV2 series ‘I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked’, the award-winning comedian from Rockhampton, is preparing to make an eagerly anticipated return to the comedy circuit with his biggest tour to date. It comes following his 2022 ‘Unapologetic’ tour.
This time around, audiences can expect ‘glamorous tales from behind the camera and less glamorous anecdotes of first-time fatherhood. In addition to his Bristol show, Joel will visit 23 more venues before concluding the tour in Norwich on June 5.
Joel has made a name for himself as one of the nation’s most familiar faces on television, fronting five hugely successful series of ‘The Masked Singer’, along with two series of its spin-off ‘The Masked Dancer’, and hosting ‘The Masked Singer Live’ tour across arenas. He recently took the reins hosting ‘Survivor’ for BBC One, and has hosted Comic Relief, ‘This Morning’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, and the National Television Awards.

Joel said: “I’M GOING ON TOUR! I’m leaving your telly box and coming to you, heading up and down the country with my brand-new show, Happy Idiot. I’ll be telling glamorous tales from behind the camera and less glamorous anecdotes of first-time fatherhood. It’s going to be fun and you should come!”
In addition to his stand-up tours over the years, Joel released his first book ‘It’s Not Me, It’s Them’ back in 2018 and also co-hosts a weekly hit podcast ‘Never Have I Ever’ with his wife Hannah Cooper.
