Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard is all set to kick off this December 2024, boasting a star-studded lineup of performers. The winter extravaganza will illuminate the O2 arena in London on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8.
The internet was abuzz with excitement on Wednesday, November 6, as the main acts for the eagerly awaited event were revealed, with more announcements made today at 7 am on Capital Breakfast. Music aficionados are thrilled with the announcement that Coldplay, one of the world’s most acclaimed and best-selling bands, will perform on Saturday night of the ball.
A host of other big names join the lineup, including international sensation Teddy Swims, chart-topper Ella Henderson and the gifted Tom Grennan. Dance music fans will also be catered to, with performances by Clean Bandit and beats by DJ and producer Sigala.
Former Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, is also slated to perform solo at the Ball. Since Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022, Edwards has been focusing on her solo career, with her debut album expected to be released soon.
It has now been confirmed that American pop star Katy Perry will be headlining the Sunday show alongside UK chart-toppers Becky Hill, Tom Grennan and KSI. Norwegian DJ and record producer Kygo will also join the Sunday line-up along with English DJ Joel Corry and Australian DJ Sonny Fodera.

Anticipation is high among music fans as they gear up to buy their tickets via the Global Player this Friday, November 8, when sales commence promptly at 9 a.m.
However, there’s an extra treat in store for the devoted followers who simply can’t waitthe presale begins one day earlier. As detailed on the Capital Jingle Bell Ball’s official site: “Capital listeners who are logged into Global Player with a global ID will get exclusive access to Capital presale tickets from Thursday, November 7th, at 9 a.m.”
However, concertgoers are advised to proceed with caution and only secure their passes through legitimate sources. The Express indicates that purchases should be solely made through the official website, which you can visit here for your tickets.
For those whose musical tastes run elsewhere and may find Tom Grennan and Sigala’s performances less appealing than Coldplay’s, fret not. There’s still an opportunity to catch the latter as their tour tickets remain available on multiple resale platforms.
How to purchase Coldplay tickets
Tickets for Coldplay’s headline stadium tour went on sale last month and have mostly sold out. However, a good number of tickets are still available on various resale websites. These platforms, including Viagogo, StubHub and others, allow fans to buy and sell their tickets at their convenience, at a price they set.
viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.
With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee.”
