Three suspects fled after shooting up a home about 40 kilometres north of Toronto.

York Regional Police reported that when officers arrived at Paradise Valley Trail and Anderson Cove in King City early on Nov. 2, they found shell casings in front of the home.

While it was occupied at the time of the shooting, no one was injured.

Police say they are looking for three suspects who fled in a white Honda CRV.

Alleged thief accused of trying to steal electric bike

A woman allegedly pulled a gun on the owner of an electric bike when he confronted a duo of thieves who were trying to steal his ride, according to Toronto Police.

A man and woman tried to steal an electric bike in the Danforth-Victoria Park Aves. area around 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 23, said police.

When confronted by the owner, officers alleged, the woman pulled out a gun before she and the man fled.

Steven Legault, 38, of Toronto, has been charged with robbery with a firearm, firearms offences and failing to comply with a probation order.

Police said officers are looking for Shanna Robb, 38, of Toronto, who is wanted for robbery and firearms-related charges.

Elderly woman struck by bus

Police put out a call for witnesses after an elderly woman was hit by a school bus in Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police said an 84-year-old woman suffered a head injury after being hit by the school bus on the afternoon of Nov. 5 on Yonge St., north of Silverwood Ave.

The bus allegedly left the scene and the senior is now in a hospital in critical condition, said police, who added the driver of the vehicle has since been identified.

Smile, you’re on camera

Brampton officials have beefed up efforts to nab speeders.

They announced more than 40 new automated speed cameras will be deployed on local streets.

The latest allotment will be added to the 70 that are already in use. The city says its goal is to have deployed 185 of the devices by the end of next summer.
