Kamala Harris has conceded the election to Trump, ringing the new 47th President hours after victory was declared.
Speaking to the president-elect, Harris issued both congratulations and words of warning.
“She discussed the importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans,” a senior Harris aide said.
She will deliver her concession speech to supporters later Wednesday in Washington at Howard University.
