ITV presenter Tom Bradby has led a liberal meltdown after suggesting that the United States may have elected a “fascist” as President.
During ITV’s election special, Bradby remarked: “There will be a lot of people watching at home who will not be able to conceive that the most powerful democratic country in the world has elected somebody, who people closest to him called a fascist.”
His comment infuriated some social media users, who took to X to complain about the remarks.
One person said: “ITV showing their real colours.. #Trumpamania.”

A third said: “ITV news is totally disgusting. All they are doing criticising the man, so biased.”
His comments came as Donald Trump secured victories in Georgia and North Carolina, boosting his chances of returning to the White House.
Other British media figures echoed Bradby’s concerns, with journalist Emily Maitlis leaving her Channel 4’s election show after swearing due to heightened emotions over the election results.
Co-anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy was forced to apologise for the language on air.

Krishnan interjected with a stern: “Stop swearing. I have to tell [the guests] off for swearing and then you do it.”
Emily had then later disappeared off screen and her co-host updated viewers: “I will tell off Emily later because I know she started swearing.
“It may be the middle of the night in Britain but we’re still a little bit sensitive about that stuff.”
