Benjamin Mendy has won part of his battle against former club Manchester City over £11.5million in unpaid wages.

The 30-year-old took the reigning Premier League champions to an employment tribunal when his £500,000-a-month salary was halted in 2021.

Mendy was cleared of rape and attempted rape charges last year following two trials.

The defender joined French Ligue 2 club Lorient after his contract at the Etihad Stadium expired.
