Hagan Homes go to some effort to make their marketing stand out, and their releases are nearly always memorable.
The marketing team have been able to get senior staff involved in their campaigns, such as when founder and chairman James Hagan posed next to a large dartboard with Larne darts prodigy Craig Murtagh, marking its sponsorship of Craig at the 2024 JDC World Championships and World Cup in Gibraltar.
The creativity of this and other campaigns was recognised at the awards, as the company won Property Marketing Campaign of the Year.
The winning entry was described by the judges: “From January 1 2022 to August 30 2024, in addition to maintaining routine marketing activity to drive sales for Hagan Homes, the company’s marketing team enhanced the customer journey by reshaping digital touchpoints.
“Analytical data and metrics demonstrate the significant impact and success of Hagan Homes’ new digital strategy.”
John Toner, director of finance at Hagan Homes said it was “great” to win the award: “We put a lot of effort into promoting ourselves and trying to get the numbers up, and it’s good to get some recognition for it.”
The company looks inside and out as it seeks to create its unique marketing: “We look internally and we engage with third party specialists as well to help us out with ideas and to fulfil what we want.
“It’s a group effort and and team effort.”
When asked what sits at the core of property marketing, Mr Toner said “the quality and affordability of our product”.
“We’re mainly first-time buyer aimed – though we do have the odd–higher end one – but if you want to, you can get on the property market.”
Mr Toner says the year ahead “looks bright” for the company, with “ a couple of new developments coming online and releases starting shortly after the end of the year.”
“All being well, it should be a good year.”
