US journalist Scottie Nell Hughes has claimed that Donald Trump “would likely accept the results” of the upcoming presidential election should he lose to Kamala Harris.
Speaking to GB News, Hughes explained that the Republicans “were not prepared in 2020” when the Capitol riots took place.
She explained: “Okay, so here’s the difference in 2020 it was the pandemic. You could almost sell to the American people that Joe Biden was the most popularly elected president because everybody was in their homes.
“You were really restricted on your gatherings. It’s going to be a much tougher sell, especially right now, considering you have had just recently in Madison Square Garden, sold out historically for a Republican presidential candidate.

“Places like the Bronx with people lined up in the streets, even in Philadelphia and Boston, cities that are actually normally considered to be very ugly. You’re having overwhelming turnout for Donald Trump. I do believe that he will accept it.
“The question is, will Democrats and Kamala Harris accept the results as well? That, I think, is a little bit more concerning.

“You’ve had the streets and the businesses in Washington, D.C. absolutely boarded up, like they’re already expecting widespread protest, widespread vandalism going to happen regarding the election results.
“They didn’t happen in 2020 when Joe Biden was elected president.
“You have to wonder who they’re expecting those riots to be for or those vandalism to happen, and what those boards are up for in 2024.
“I think Donald Trump will definitely. The Republicans have a much stronger ground game. They have lawyers. They have over 250,000 poll watchers across the United States.
Scottie Nell Hughes said Trump will ‘accept the results’ if he does not win

“They did not have that, they were not prepared in 2020. The question is, are Democrats going to accept the election results or are they going to do the ones at this time questioning a win if it happens to go to Donald Trump?”
Isabel Webster pointed out: “To be clear, Kamala Harris, unlike Donald Trump, has explicitly said she will accept the results of the election, believing that the system is fair.”
The comments come after Nigel Farage, speaking to The Telegraph during a visit to Trump’s Palm Beach home, urged the former president to accept the results if he loses.
