Bristol’s Christmas Market returns to Broadmead today (November 1), boasting more than 35 stalls, a programme of entertainment and visits from Santa and his elves. The market opens until December 23 and this year will see the likes of the Jäger Barn Bar make a return, as well as the igloos and ski gondolas which can be hired for private meals, or simply to stay warm while enjoying some refreshments.
Where will the Christmas market be located?
Bristol’s Christmas market can be found in the Bristol Shopping Quarter, in Broadmead. You can find and download a map via the market’s website, here.
When will the Christmas market open?
The Christmas Market will be open from November 1 until December 23. Opening times are as follows:

What’s new for this year?
The candy-themed escape room introduced in 2023 is back for this year. Called ‘Candy Factory’, you can take part in saving the day as a family of four, a group of eight, or via one of the party packages listed on the website.
We’ll update this space as more events and attractions are announced.

The railway station closest to the Christmas Market is Bristol Temple Meads for those opting to travel by train. If you exit the station through the main entrance and head down past the taxi rank and car park to the main road you will get to Temple Gate.
Once there, turn right and follow the main road all the way to Old Market roundabout. Then take the left turn towards Castle Street, follow the road round and you will reach Cabot Circus shopping centre and Broadmead where the Christmas Market begins.
The city centre is served by a number of different bus routes from all corners of Bristol.
The organisers of Bristol Christmas Market in Broadmead have also confirmed that the Christmas Village will be coming to Castle Park but later than initially planned. A question mark over whether the village would happen was raised after the planning application was withdrawn suddenly.
But Relevention Limited has told Bristol Live that the village would still be coming to Castle Park and taking place from December 5 until January 3, only closing on Christmas Day.
