Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan and Northern Irish Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough will both be entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle, according to The Sun.
Earlier in the week it was reported Newtownabbey man McCullough was tipped to star on the ITV show which starts on Sunday, November 17.
Now The Sun have revealed what they say is the full confirmed line-up.
They have reported that former featherweight champion McGuigan has signed up after former Rangers legend Ally McCoist dropped out.
The 63-year-old was the manager and mentor of former two-weight world champion Carl Frampton for eight years, until the partnership broke down in 2017 and Belfast boxer Frampton quit McGuigan’s Cyclone Promotions organisation, of which he was a director.
McGuigan’s son, Shane, also trained Frampton up until the acrimonious split, with the latter then signing as a fighter for the now-defunct MTK firm.
DJ McCullough meanwhile started presenting for Radio 1 in 2020, standing in for Clara Amfo, and in September 2022 he replaced Scott Mills and Chris Stark, alongside Vicky Hawkesworth, as hosts of Radio 1’s afternoon show.
McCullough is due to host this year’s Royal Television Society NI Awards.
The Newtownabbey man will take charge of hosting the awards which are to be held at Titanic Belfast on Thursday, November 14 – just days before the launch of this year’s I’m A Celeb.
Alongside being a guest on Big Brother: Late and Live, Love Island: Aftersun, Mastermind and Strictly: It takes Two, he has also presented for Morning Live on BBC One making a personal film about his journey with sobriety.
ITV’s I’m A Celebrity has been on the air since 2000, with winners including Tony Blackburn, Stacey Solomon, Jill Scott and last year’s victor Sam Thompson.
