A bus has been left with over £3,000 worth of damage after youths barricaded a road and threw bricks at it in Co Down.
The incident occurred in Kilkoo on Tuesday evening around 8.45pm when a group of youths barricaded the Dublin Road towards Castlewellan.
They then proceeded to attack a private white bus travelling in the area, causing £3,000 worth of damage.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to the incident in Kilkoo on October 29. At roughly 8:45 pm a white private bus was travelling on the Dublin Road near to the community hall towards Castlewellan.”
The PSNI added: “Can you help us identify the youths? Were you in the area or have dashcam footage that could be of use? If so please contact 101 and quote CC1700 of 29/10/24”.
