A migrant who made death threats against Nigel Farage has been detained, GB News understands.

The Clacton MP said that a migrant who seemingly taunted the British and French authorities and broadcasted his journey live on social media has been placed in secure detention.

Farage posted on social media: “The Metropolitan Police have released the following statement: ‘The person who goes by the name Madapasa has been detained by Immigration Officers, he is currently in secure detention and will be investigated for immigration and criminal offences’.”

Now, the Met Police has confirmed to GB News that a man has been detained for immigration offences in Dover.
