An OPP probe has led to two people being charged in a fraud investigation related to the COVID-19 vaccine database.

The investigation discovered about 150 falsified entries into the database.

Waseem Razvi, 35, of Mississauga, and Trang Tran, 34, of Scarborough, were each changed with mischief to computer data, unauthorized use of a computer, breach of public trust, forgery, and trafficking in a forged document.

Cops return stolen bikes

Toronto Police officers returned dozens of stolen bikes to their rightful owners.

Police say they launched the program on Sept. 1 to return as many stolen bikes as possible.

Since the start of Project Sentry, 14 Division has recovered 47 bicycles, with 12 already returned to their owners.

Thirty-five bikes are being stored until they are identified and returned.

Home invaders in Oakville steal Mercedes

Thugs confronted an occupant of a home they broke into in Oakville to obtain keys needed to steal a Mercedes.

Three bandits, including one with a gun, broke through a back door of a home on Harold Dent Trail — a residential street in north Oakville — and stole a Mercedes G-Wagon, say Halton Regional Police.

Police said the thieves went to an upper floor, confronted a female resident and demanded keys for the Mercedes.

No one was injured. The suspects are described as men, who wore dark clothes and masks.
