Prince Harry has lost several key friendships since marrying Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have lost touch with some of his close friends since moving to California in 2020.

The 40-year-old has had some high-profile disagreements with friends and family members since stepping down as a working royal.

From the Beckhams to his brother Prince William, Harry isn’t as close as he once was to some who used to make up his inner circle.

The Duke of Sussex is not on speaking terms with his older brother, Prince William, after he stepped down as a working royal and moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle.

The brothers long standing feud began when Harry told William he wasn’t doing enough to include Meghan in the Royal Family, in 2018.

He is also not on speaking terms with his former friend David Beckham after Meghan Markle accused Beckham’s wife, Victoria, of leaking private information about them to the press.

Prince Harry has reportedly cut ties with another former friend and actor Dominic West, who played his father in The Crown.

West has said that the pair no longer speak: “We sort of [lost touch because] I said too much in a press conference, and so, we didn’t speak after that.”

He admitted in a later interview that he “probably said too much” about their private relationship.

One of Harry’s close friends from home is Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip, who Harry has been friends with since his Eton days.

According to royal biography Finding Freedom, Tom shared doubts about how quickly Harry and Meghan’s relationship was moving and told Harry he should live with Meghan before “doing anything more serious”.

It is reported that Harry didn’t see Tom’s advice as supportive leading the school friends to fall out.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said: “I think we can say that it must be tough for Harry to have lost touch with virtually all his old circle of friends as well as his family.

“But we must assume that he feels that sacrifice is worth it for the life he now has with the woman he loves and the children he adores.”
