Tragedy has struck the family of WWE legend Ric Flair as his 24-year-old stepson, Sebastian Kidder, has died by suicide.

The young musician’s mother, Wendy Barlow, confirmed the devastating news to TMZ Sports.


“I am devastated and shocked,” Barlow said. “This is an epidemic with your young men. And mental health…”

Sebastian was discovered on Saturday afternoon in Georgia with a gunshot wound, according to TMZ. Police are currently investigating the incident.

The tragic news comes just weeks after Flair and Barlow announced their separation following six years of marriage.

Sebastian Kidder was an up-and-coming musician who had recently released his first album, ‘Under The Moon’.

His mother, Wendy Barlow, had proudly announced the album’s release on Instagram, praising her son’s songwriting and self-publishing efforts.

Earlier this year, Sebastian appeared on Fox5 Atlanta to promote his record. He described the album as “very romance filled” and “very relatable”.

Sebastian revealed that his mother was the catalyst for his music career.

He explained, “I recorded the cover and didn’t think anything of it but my mom got ahold of it and started sending it around to people. You get traction and roll with it.”

Sebastian’s upbringing as Ric Flair’s stepson was far from ordinary. In an interview, he shared insights into his unique childhood experiences.

“Growing up with Ric as a stepdad was very different, very unique,” Sebastian said.

“You go out to a family meal and you are just surrounded by fans, people coming up and wanting pictures. You are already exposed to it from an early age.”

He recalled extraordinary encounters with celebrities, stating, “What kid has Post Malone coming over and having dinner with the family?

“Darius Rucker pulled up with his big tour bus one time. It was crazy.”

Flair himself had expressed pride in Sebastian’s musical achievements, tweeting, “Congratulations On The Release Of Your First Album- Under The Moon! I Am So Proud Of You! WOOOOO!”
