Lisnagarvey continue their EYHL title charge as they travel to Dublin to face UCD on Saturday.

The Hillsborough outfit are one of just three sides in the division with a perfect record in the 2024/25 season alongside Three Rock Rovers and local rivals Banbridge.

Erroll Lutton’s side have been in blistering form, netting 24 times in the opening weeks of the campaign.

Their previous 7-1 win over Ulster rivals Annadale has arguably been the highlight of their term, with Ben Nelson amongst the star performers with four goals.

They now face a UCD side who are bottom of the table having lost all four of their opening fixtures.

Title rivals Banbridge are also looking to continue their 100 per cent start to the 2024/25 season as they travel to play YMCA.

The Ulster side have won all three of their opening games, beating Avoca, Monkstown and UCD in the process.

During that time, Irish international Jonny McKee has been a standout performer with five goals, including two in their 5-0 thrashing of Avoca.

As the side now prepares to face YMCA, they know a win could see them move to the top of the table should both Three Rock Rovers and Lisnagarvey slip up.

However, they face difficult opposition with YMCA winning three of their opening games, only losing 2-1 to Corinthian.

The final EYHL game of the day sees struggling Annadale host Dubliners Pembroke Wanderers at CIYMS.

And there was good news for Banbridge Academy as they were crowned All-Ireland Schoolboys’ champions in Dublin after defeating Ulster rivals Friends School from Lisburn.

In the Men’s Premier League, Cookstown hope to continue their winning start as they face an away trip to Bangor.

The reigning champions got off to a flyer by hammering Belfast Harlequins 6-0 at home, with a Paul Watt hat-trick being the pick of the action.

They now face a Bangor side who have lost both their opening fixtures 3-2 against South Antrim and Harlequins.

However, having beaten EYHL Annadale in the Anderson Cup in September, the visitors have already proven that they are capable of causing an upset.

Elsewhere, title hopefuls Instonians take on Portadown as they look to win for a third game running.

Following their relegation from the EYHL, the Belfast club have won both their opening fixtures against PSNI and Kilkeel, scoring 10 goals in the process.

They face a Portadown side who were comfortably beaten by Queen’s University previously.
