One person was shot and taken to hospital shortly after noon on Thursday in the area of Yonge St. and Bogert Ave, just south of Sheppard Ave.
Toronto Police Operations posted on its X account that there were “reports of multiple shots heard,” and cops were on the scene.
Bogert Ave. at Beecroft R. was closed for the investigation.
There was no immediate word on the victim or any suspects.
