Celebrity Big Brother usually offers a fair amount of drama, with frequent spats and disagreements causing chaos among the famous faces.

However, one series of the reality show saw an extreme level of arguing as Kim Woodburn butted heads with several housemates in 2017.

It came as the 82-year-old starred in series 20 of the popular reality show, which aired at the time on Channel 5.

Clips of shouting matches between the contestants, including Coleen Nolan, 59, were widely circulated.

After some public backlash following their Big Brother stint, Nolan and other housemates strongly denied accusations of “bullying,” but speaking exclusively to GB News, cleaning guru Woodburn seemed to reignite the feud.

“It was back in 2017 and look, I’m a strong woman, but I know when something’s going on,” she stated.

Speaking to this publication on behalf of WhichBingo, she argued: “I was totally picked on.

“I’m going to say this to you now. I could not personally join a gang. I’m not a gang person.

“If I saw somebody being picked on by many people, I would say, ‘stop it.’ It’s cowardly when gangs pick on people and if I see gangs picking on somebody I’ll stop it.

“So they’re cowardly, shocking people. And I was very sad that people could be so horrible.”

GB News has reached out to Nolan’s representatives for comment.

The former How Clean is Your House star added: “But you know, they said, ‘Why did you go in?’

“Well, it pays a shedload of money! I’ve had very poor days. I was born to a family in the war.

“We were poor, like everybody else, a bit of toast for your breakfast – and I was offered a gargantuan amount of money for this.

“I wasn’t going to walk out and lose the money for those people.”

Speaking around the time of the controversy, Nolan responded to claims of “bullying,” telling The Mirror: “Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully. That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.

“I didn’t want to do the reunion. It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences.”

Elsewhere, the presenter touched on the idea of rebooting classic Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House, explaining: “Remember, I was 61 you know.”

She added: “I met, Aggie [MacKenzie], we did the show. And do you know what? We didn’t know it was going to be a smash hit. And I was just myself.”

“But do I wish if I could go back and do it now? Would I want to 82? I don’t know I’ve got the strength! I don’t know,” she added.

“I get asked to do all sorts of bits, but at 82, it’s time I gave it to somebody else, isn’t it?” the TV personality concluded.
