A 35-year-old Toronto man is facing several firearm and drug charges after police conducted a pair of raids this week.
Toronto Police said the drug squad executed search warrants at two residences on Tuesday in connection with a person allegedly involved in the trafficking of fentanyl.
Police said they seized illicit drugs, two illegal firearms, ammunition and cash.
Tremaine Fraser was charged with possession of a scheduled I substance for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and other offences.
Suspects sought in Oshawa shooting
Durham Regional Police are on the hunt for two suspects after a shooting in a residential Oshawa neighbourhood.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire on Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. in the Oxford St.-Wentworth St. W. area. Two men were seen fleeing near a residence.
Police said they located multiple shell casings, but no one has come forward to report any injuries.
The first suspect is a 6-foot Black male who was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is a man, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, who was wearing a black-and-white ski mask, black hoodie and black pants.
