Carl Froch believes Tyson Fury should ban his father, John, from his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk later in the year.
The two men met at a press conference on Wednesday, with the pair starting to ramp up hype and excitement for their second battle.
Usyk won the first, with the Ukrainian winning via split decision back in May.
In the build-up to the fight, John caused outrage in Saudi Arabia when he headbutted a member of Usyk’s entourage – with the incident caught on camera.

He was in his son’s corner for the contest but some felt the advice he gave Fury was unwise, with the Briton suffering his first defeat as a professional.
And Froch, speaking on his YouTube channel, believes Fury would be wise to cut his father loose for the rematch this winter.
“Tyson probably knows that actually ‘listen, dad. I love you to bits. I know you’ve got my best intentions at heart and you want me to win and you want me to do the business, but do me a favour, stay out of the way, shut the f**k up””, he said.
“It’s probably a little more than that.

“But, they don’t need big John Fury in the ring, do they? They don’t need him here.
“So, if he surfaces his head fight week, I’ll be shocked.
“If he’s in the corner, I mean you’ve got Andy Lee and SugarHill [Steward]. Two very experienced guys at world level who know the game inside-out.
“You don’t need big John Fury in the corner. So, hopefully, (John) Fury just sits back, keeps his mouth shut, watches his son and wills him on to win.

“Maybe he’s in the camp, maybe he’s helping him and keeping the distance and letting the real trainers do the job.”
Fury was in good form at the press conference.
And in an interview with Queensberry Promotions, he insisted he was ready to learn the lessons from his first bout with Usyk as he hopes to strike gold second time around.
“I have watched it a thousand times, well probably not a thousand but maybe a hundred times,” he said.

“I thought it was a very good fight. I thought that I did fantastic, I thought Usyk did fantastic, it was what it was.
“It is just someone’s opinion isn’t it, who won the fight, because like we see in a lot of these fights recently, especially in fights that people think are close, some people might have one man winning it and some might have the other man winning it.
“I think that I won, he thinks that he won.
“I have seen him doing his view where he says ‘I thought I won it by a point’, one of the judges had me up by a point and one of the judges had him up by a point.

“It is an opinionated thing if it goes the distance and that is what you have got to deal with.
“If something goes the distance, then you are relying on three people’s opinions, and they might not all see it the same.”
