Amazon has graciously slashed the price of the perfect autumnal perfume for men, which smells like “oranges and cinnamon.” The Calvin Klein Obsession for Men Eau de Parfum 125ml bottle is now £24.50, down from £78.
The highly-praised perfume’s description on Amazon reads: “Calvin Klein Obsession for Men Eau de Parfum captures the pure essence of masculinity. Potent, powerful, and provocative, it’s a compelling, intense blend of botanics, spices, and rare woods. Obsession for Men starts with a fresh bergamot-mandarin accord that proceeds to a spicy heart accented with lavender and sage. Over 2,000 shoppers have purchased the perfume this month and it currently boasts an impressive 4.6 stars on the site. Awarding the perfume five stars, one happy shopper said: “When I first tried this fragrance, my first Impression wasn’t great. It was a strong overpowering smell that was a little jarring.
“HOWEVER, shortly after the scent mellowed, leaving a still strong but now more decernably tangerine/ cinnamon scent with undertones of sandalwood, then hours later mellows even more to a more more noticeable vanilla note. I’ve really enjoyed wearing it and discovering how the scent develops and as it turns out it has great longevity! I definitely think this will be a new winter regular me and for the price, great value!”
A second person shared: “Love this stuff smells fantastic, like it so much I’ve ordered two more bottles would definitely recommend.” Another added: “Have used for last five years it’s very popular good price and lasts all day lots of people have asked me what is that you are wearing.”
However, some shoppers were not completely satisfied with the perfume, one person warned: “Scent isn’t bad; first waft can be a bit medicinal but quickly mellows to something more like wood shavings and dark honey. It is legitimately pleasant and I wouldn’t mind wearing it more.
“Unfortunately only lasts a couple of hours, then it’s gone without trace. Plenty of EDTs in this price bracket will outlast this one several times over. Maybe pick this up on heavy discount just to have a classic on the shelf, but can’t exactly call it a daily.”
Amazon is also offering Calvin Klein perfume for women, the CK IN2U for Women 100ml is also 69% off, originally priced at £55 but is now £16.99. This scent combines the “playfulness of youth with the strength and confidence of elemental femininity.” The scent includes “grapefruit fizz and mouthwatering sugar orchid.”
