The Montreal Canadiens will be without forward Juraj Slafkovsky for a week, starting Tuesday night against the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre. Note the slightly later start time of 7:15 p.m. (TSN2, RDS, TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM).

According to the club, Slafkovsky suffered an upper-body injury and will be out for at least a week. The injury means Michael Pezzetta will finally hit the ice this season. He’s been a healthy scratch for the first six games.

Kirby Dach will rejoin Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki on the top line. Rookie Oliver Kapanen will centre the second line.
