Two men who have been charged with multiple drugs offences have appeared in court. Both Ahmed Abdi Jama, from Henbury, and Ismail Jama, with no fixed address, appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 21.

Both were charged on Sunday, October 20. They have both been remanded into custody ahead of their next appearance at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, November 25.

Ismail Jama, 23, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine (dated between September 8 and October 18) and being concerned in the supply of heroin, in the same period. He has also been charged with possession of criminal property (cash).

Ahmed Abdi Jama, 21, has been charged with:

  • Possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply
  • Possession of heroin with intent to supply
  • Possession of criminal property (cash)
  • Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine (between September 8 and October 18)
  • Being concerned in the supply of heroin (between September 8 and October 18)
  • Two counts of breaching a Slavery and Trafficking Risk Order

Both have been taken back into police custody before their next date in court.
