Jude Bellingham has been brutally trolled by Spanish outlet Marca with the Real Madrid and England star continuing to struggle in front of goal.

The 21-year-old lit up the world stage on his debut season in Madrid last season, ending the campaign with an incredible 23 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

That also included an assist in the Champions League final as Real beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0.

But he’s failed to replicate the same kind of form he showed last season so far this year through the first few gameweeks.

An injury delayed Bellingham’s start to the campaign as he missed four La Liga matches, but has failed to find the net in six matches.

He let his frustrations get the better of him last weekend after bursting into a fit of rage at team-mate Vinicius Jr for choosing to shoot rather than passing to him during Real’s 2-1 win over Celta Vigo.

Kylian Mbappe had given Real a 1-0 lead in the first half when Bellingham was in a great position inside the box to double his side’s lead.

However, Vinicius Jr opted to shoot with his effort failing to hit the mark and Bellingham was furious with his team-mate afterward.

Bellingham’s anger increased when Celta equalised shortly after the break before Vinicius made up for his miss earlier in the match by scoring the game’s winner.

But the England international’s lack of goals this season was targeted by Marca after the game, who mocked his trademark goal celebration.

The Spanish newspaper wrote: “The image of the Madrid number 5 celebrating goals by opening his arms became a common sight.

“The Bernabeu turned it into a ritual. Now he has ‘crossed his arms’ and has not opened them again since May 14, the date of his last goal with Real Madrid.

“He is berating himself about the goals and cannot settle that score he has.”

Carlo Ancelotti isn’t worried about Bellingham’s goal drought as the Italian coach praised the midfielder for his overall performance levels.

“We’re satisfied with his work, I’m very satisfied,” he said.

“He works a lot, he’s always present, he competes, he fights, he sacrifices himself.

“It’s true he hasn’t scored the goals he scored last year, but the surprise isn’t this year, the surprise was last year, when he scored lots of goals which nobody expected and helped us a lot.

“The problem this year isn’t that we’re lacking Bellingham’s goals.

“We’ve always scored goals, and we’ll always score, because we have talented players up front.

“For us, in this moment, the work he’s doing is more important than the goals the scored last year.”
