Why we love it: Breakfast Television co-host, style expert and size-inclusivity advocate Meredith Shaw is lending her celebratory sense of style to a new holiday collection with Penningtons.
Shaw’s 12-piece release for the Canadian retailer, which specializes in offering designs for women’s clothing sizes 14 to 32, aims to “redefine holiday fashion through joyful pieces that are inclusive and innovative” by design. The release includes sparkling two-piece sets, dresses, suiting separates and more.
“Holiday fashion is all about embracing joy,” Shaw said in a news release. “I envisioned a collection where every woman feels empowered to shine.”
In addition to party ready silhouettes, the collection plays with texture such as velvet, metallics, satin, florals and more.
“It’s a palette party for party season,” says Shaw.
The seasonal release builds on a previous partnership between Shaw and the retailer, called Get Dress’d with Meredith, a fashion edit of pieces that launched in stores last summer.
