Mike Tyson has been hailed by boxing fans after sharing new footage of himself training ahead of his fight Jake Paul.

The two men have been widely criticised for their decision to do battle given the big age gap between the pair.

Tyson is 58, whereas Paul is 27. As a result, figures such as Eddie Hearn, Tony Bellew and Ricky Hatton have all been quick to brand the showdown a farce.

Iron Mike has been updating fans on his progress ever since the bout was first confirmed back in March.

And many fans have been left impressed by Tyson’s work ethic, with some fearing for Paul as a result.

“Call off the fight, champ. You’ve already won,” were the words of one user.

“Young men fight. Old men kill!” wrote a second.

Tyson is one of the best heavyweights of all time, with 44 of his 50 professional victories coming via knockout.

In Paul, he is facing a man on the up with the 27-year-old winning 10 of his 11 own pro fights so far – with a defeat to Tommy Fury last year the only time he’s been unable to reign supreme.

Meanwhile, Paul has offered Tyson a staggering £3.8million if he’s able to make it past the fourth round.

If the heavyweight icon loses, however, he’ll need to get a tattoo saying ‘I love Jake Paul’ somewhere on his body.

But the youngster has admitted his rival is yet to respond – and that he’s unlikely to ever give an answer.

“I think I TKO or KO him in rounds four or five,” he told Sports Illustrated.
