A free emergency perfume delivery service is being launched for one day only in Bristol. It comes as new research from a survey of 2,000 UK adults reveals one in 10 Brits will cancel plans if they forget their perfume.

The research reveals that almost half of people in the South West (45 per cent) are ‘continuously caught short without their fragrance’, leaving them feeling annoyed (21 per cent) and unprepared (16 per cent). Now, thanks to a new service from Deliveroo and The Perfume Shop, ‘Eau De-Liveroo’ is launching in Bristol, only on October 25.

Customers can message the service on WhatsApp to receive an emergency spritz and mini perfume bottle within 15 minutes. You’ll spot the delivery as an ‘Eau-Deliveroo Rider’ will be carrying a giant tailor-made perfume bottle instead of the usual Deliveroo bike box, and it will be filled with a choice of top ten selling scents.

Why is all of this happening, you ask? It is to celebrate the arrival of The Perfume Shop on the Deliveroo app.

To book a free spritz service on Friday, October 25, Bristolians can message 07881 130168 on WhatsApp or via the link here. There have already been dedicated emergency perfume days in London and Manchester, and the choice of best-selling perfumes include the likes of Prada Paradoxe, Mugler Alien, Montblanc Explorer, Marc Jacobs Daisy, and Hugo Boss Bottled, among others.

And customers who aren’t able to order the free service won’t miss out, as Deliveroo is offering a 20 per cent discount (up to £10 off) with the code SPRITZ20 when you spend £20 at The Perfume Shop until October 31, 2024.
