It’s not every day that shoppers are looking for a new TV deal so when the time to lock into another monthly plan comes around you want to ensure you’ve found the best price. Our tech team has done that by breaking down Sky TV’s latest deal…and it’ll save billpayers a lot.
The Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle is a plan we regularly advise, it gives customers with an HDMI-cabled TV a chance to experience satellite-free streaming, includes a Netflix plan and is often high up in the sales. However, this month it works out much better value if you add a broadband plan onto this.
More specifically, the Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and 300 Broadband plan. Set across the same 24-month contract this has all the perks of the favoured stream TV package but bundles in household Full Fibre for a much cheaper price. As the price is cut to a cheaper £40 per month.
If you want speedy upload and download speeds, watch Sky TV or catch up on Netflix’s new season of Emily in Paris (to name one of many) this could be a good option. All while bundling the payment into one concise bill.
To put it into context this is the exact same price of the smaller 150 Full Fibre broadband, Sky TV, Sky Stream and Netflix package. Despite offering double the amount of speed customers can currently get it for the same price. It also works out to be £16 cheaper per month than the Sky Stream, Sky TV, Sky Sports, and Netflix plan (£46 per month) and this doesn’t come with any broadband hook-up.
Elsewhere on the Sky deals page, the Sky Stream, TV, and Netflix plan (for those who don’t need a broadband plan) is currently not in the sale at £26 per month, making it £14 more per month than our chosen TV and broadband bundle pick. Looking at rival providers there are other ways to add TV and broadband together.
One is Virgin Media, and while a huge pro is its slightly shorter contracts than Sky, its prices are slightly on the higher side. For instance, its Sky Sports HD and Broadband 500 plan costs £69.99 per month.
