Lisnagarvey host Annadale in an all-Ulster EYHL clash at Comber Road on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams have had contrasting starts to the 2024/25 season, with the home side coming into the tie with a 100 per cent record so far.

Erroll Lutton’s side have already netted 17 goals across their three opening games, with Andy Williamson leading the line with four strikes of his own.

Their results so far see the Hillsborough outfit as the early pacesetters in the division having played a game more than title rivals Banbridge.

They now take on an Annadale side who have suffered heavy defeats in their opening ties.

A 6-2 defeat to YMCA was followed by a 4-1 loss against Three Rock Rovers, leaving the side eighth in the table going into this game.

Banbridge are also in action as they host Avoca at Havelock Park.

The reigning champions are looking to continue their perfect start to the 2024/25 season having already won their opening two games.

A Matthew McKee hat-trick was the highlight of a double-header weekend which saw the side beat both UCD and Monkstown, scoring 11 goals in the process.

Scott McCandless’ team now face an Avoca side that have lost two of their opening three games, including to Ulster opponents Lisnagarvey.

However, with an influx of new players in the summer of 2024, the Dublin side are likely to cause problems for their hosts with the likes of Shane O’Donoghue and Neil Byrne amongst their ranks.

Cookstown get their Premier League title defence under way as they host Belfast Harlequins.

The mid-Ulster side won the division with a near-perfect record in the 2023/24 season and lost just once in their 18 games.

They face a Belfast Harlequins side who got their campaign up and running with a 3-2 win against Bangor.

Three goals from Matty Gray, James Hutchinson and Aaron Murphy sealed the victory in new coach Paddy Jack’s first League game in charge.

Elsewhere in the division, Instonians travel to Kilkeel as they look to make it two wins from two since their recent relegation.

The Belfast club got off to a flying start in midweek when they beat PSNI 6-1 with goals from Stephen Kelso (3), Josh Kidd (2) and David Arneill.

Today, they face a Kilkeel side that came second in the division in the 2023/24 campaign and are likely to cause a lot of problems for their visitors.

Forward Luke Russell was amongst the top goalscorers in the division in 2023/24 as he netted 18 times en route to their EYHL2 qualification.
