John Lewis has been mocked for the look of its £15 pumpkin cushions, which people are convinced look like breasts. Shoppers have been left in stitches after spotting a resemblance in the Halloween soft furnishings.

The cream pumpkin cushion has a different colour stalk. But from above it resembles a breast. It is also on sale at Waitrose – part of the John Lewis Partnership.

Customer Carrie joked: “Pumpkin t*ts in Waitrose.” Charlotte said: “Oh no I work at Waitrose and can’t unsee this.” Another added: “That’s a bit unfortunate.”

A third said: “I nearly bought one of these yesterday. I am now so glad I didn’t.” One added “Can’t unsee this now.”

John Lewis has been approached for comment. It’s not the first High Street product that’s bared an unfortunate risque resemblance. H&M recently became a point of ridicule after selling crockery that shoppers said looked like it was covered in poo.

The plates and bowls were spotted in a Manchester store.
