An investigation has been launched after a fire broke out at a home in Bristol this morning, Friday, October 18. Fire crews were called to Ashley Down Road at around 7am.

Firefighters from Temple, Southmead and Patchway rushed to the scene and found a fire in the roof space of a property. The blaze was extinguished and nobody was injured.

The fire service said that the cause of the fire is not yet known. An investigation has now been launched.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 7am this morning to reports of a fire in a residential building on Ashley Down Road, Bristol. Firefighters from Temple, Southmead and Patchway responded and found a fire affecting the roof space of the building.

“The crew extinguished the fire, and no persons were injured. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, fire investigation will take place today.”
