Hundreds of Tesco stores have seen a major change that’s game-changing for parents on the hunt for their kids’ Christmas presents. UK retailer, The Entertainer, has rolled out toy concessions in a staggering 861 Tesco supermarkets, according to the Retail Gazette.
More than 4.5million toys have now been delivered to Tesco stores as part of the toy specialist’s ‘significant expansion’ project. The Entertainer’s current online range encompasses products from various well-known, beloved brands including Disney, LEGO, Marvel, Star Wars, Spiderman, Peppa Pig and CoComelon.
Andrew Murphy OBE, The Entertainer Group CEO, reportedly said the move has now put ‘90% of the UK’s shoppers’ in reach of its ‘unmatched toy offer’. “The speed and impact of this growth is a testament to our team’s agility, attention to detail and a deep understanding of customer needs,” he said to Retail Gazette.
“Our partnership with Tesco is the biggest and most important step we’ve taken in expanding our unique ‘Toy Box’ retail solution for multi-category retailers, but we look forward to on-boarding further retail partners, at home and abroad, in the coming months.”
