Five Hamilton boys face charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl in Vaughan earlier this month.
York Regional Police allege a female youth was approached by a group of at least five males she didn’t know and they brought her to to a secondary location in the area of Norwood Ave. and Jane St. – south of Major Mackenzie Dr. W. – where they sexually assaulted her shortly before 1 a.m. on Oct. 6.
Investigators subsequently identified five suspects.
Three of the youths were arrested on Oct. 11 with two later arrested on Oct. 14 and Oct. 17.
The accused can’t be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
