Chevrolet has announced Canadian pricing and updates for the all-electric 2025 Blazer EV, which starts at $54,499 before freight and fees, and any applicable “green vehicle” federal and provincial rebates.

The Blazer EV debuted for the 2024 model year, and in Canada, it’s “bringing in customers new to GM at an impressive rate with a 55% conquest rate,” the automaker said, and that it received an award for lowest cost of ownership in the midsize SUV segment in the 2024 Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards.

For 2025, the lineup will include models in front-wheel drive (FWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), all-wheel drive (AWD), and with a performance SS version. Some trims get a boost in horsepower and range. The LT AWD and RS AWD now have 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque, up from 300/355, respectively. Their estimated range is now 455 kilometres on a charge, up from 449 km.

The SS has a “WOW” boost feature – cleverly, it stands for “Wide Open Watts” – that was originally announced at 557 horsepower but has now been bumped to 595 horsepower, and it can accelerate from 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.4 seconds. The SS is expected to go on sale early in 2025.

New options for the 2025 Blazer EV include a Midnight or Sport package on the LT; a two-tone roof available on the LT and RS; and Super Cruise hands-free driving assist is standard on the SS, and available on the LT and RS AWD models.

The LT AWD starts at $57,999, and the RS AWD at $61,699, both with that increased 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque, and the estimated improvement to 455 km of range.

The RS RWD, at $64,999, also got reworked: It now has 365 horsepower, up from 340 hp, along with 325 lb-ft of torque, and its range is now estimated at 538 km, up from 521 km on a charge.
